Is anyone being slow at sending out your purchase, or hasnt send it at all and is totally ignoring your pm's for any news on your item...then name and shame them in here and they can answer here what problems they have had or are having, or whether they are just unreliable or not...im certain this wll stop a whole heap of problems, cos if you are a seller named in here a few times, people will think twice before buying from you.
DO NOT PAY VIA 'PAYPAL GIFT' UNLESS YOU ARE TOTALLY SURE OF THE SELLER.

But if he gets banned then Im sure Best will never get his items? And DTV has lost his £10 GJ but made £££ by being dodgy?
Perhaps a list should be put up of dodgy users and associated eBay accounts, names they use on other forums etc? This *could* then give the accused a chance to recompense and may put people off at least doing this sort of thing in the first place if it could have wider implications with them selling on eBay or elsewhere?

so just let him carry on ignoring best and this thread and carry on posting like he is then mate yeah??
this is why everything should be paypal cos we can ban the offender and the person whos been robbed still gets they money back...if best has used paypal then hes safe, claim now mate id say

No not at all - I meant that before it gets to banning - which looks inevitable in this case, the person gets put on a blacklist etc to warn users and give the accused a chance to explain. This could perhaps be put in the first post of this topic.
Then if it looks like the guy is dodgy as much should be done as possible to warn others - I.E eBay name, paypal account etc etc. So just for example if someone pops up on another forum we could ruin his thread with a link to the 'blacklist' on here.

what would be the point of ignoring pm's
why not explain the 'situation' to best in the first place, and not knowing wether the parcel had been sent or not is bad practice

i have no gripe with anyone, but i think noble's right in that all transactions should HAVE to be via paypal, and i reckon there should be some set in stone rules so that stuff like this isn't up for debate in the future. maybe something like:
1) all sales must be made via paypal - payment via any other method is at the sellers and buyers risk.
2) all items must be posted, via recorded delivery, within 7 days.
3) if for any reason the seller is unable to post items within 7 days, the seller must contact the buyer to confirm that the schedule is acceptable. if it isn't, the buyer must be refunded in full.
failure to comply with the above, will result in an instant BAN.

Should we add 4% to all prices in Classifieds?

why don't you get ben to put a mod on fuk to give user's the ability to give and receive feedback on transactions? similar to ebay and some other large forums? it should be very easy to do and help fuk management track orders.
