Cleaning canvas shoes

I've just picked up a pair of shoes which are part leather, part canvas.
They need a good clean. the leather part is obviously fairly easy to clean. The (white) canvas sections are fairly dirty. Any recommendations on how best to clean them?

I cleaned my canvas Vans with this stuff and came up well

I was about to ask the same question, my white pointer debasers are part leather/part canvas and need a clean... Will give that shit a try
