WELL pissed off just slogged through and completed the AK47 challenge to get a awesome scope and 1000 points and its not saved the fucking thing how do you have to exit it to save the data???? |

A lot of people are complaining of their stats reseting on the Infinity Ward forums, so you're not alone. I got up to level 32 this morning and logged out and then when I went to play online again, my rank had been reset to 27...lost the AK47u, a 26 kill streak, AK47 Marksman 3 challenge, Flyswatter challenge, Double Tap |

Your stats will keep resetting each time you log out of online. There's no word from IW on what's causing the problem or when it'll be fixed. |

also, what game are people playing? team domination is most pob best put being only rank ten its a struggle people using free for all to build rank / get better perks and weapons?? |

Headquarters and Search and Destroy are best for getting XP points and ranking up. I mainly play HQ because there's no respawning in S&D, which can make it a very short game...on average I get around 500XP in every Headquarters game (more if I complete challenges). |

It really depends on the type of map. In CQC maps like Shipment, I use a submachine gun, usually the MP5 with Red dot sight attachment, Special Grenade x 3, Stopping Power and Steady Aim. On large maps I tend to use an assault rifle. I started off using the M16, which is possibly the best all rounder in terms of accuracy and range (medium and long), plus if you use Stopping Power, it only takes a couple of bursts to kill the enemy. Also depends on whether I've finished all the challenges for the gun...once I have, I switch to using another. I had completed all of the AK47 challenges until the resetting stats problem The AK is a beast with Bandolier and Double Tap |

BTW the ACOG scope is shit, stick with the Red dot sight...it actually makes the accuracy of the gun worse. IW have fixed it in the patch, along with sniper hit detection. |

Is console online gaming coming along well then? Are all the servers just official ones? Or can you have both public and private servers? Much scope for team competitions in the future? Or will the PC always hold that title? |

I dont know how it works for PS3, but xbox lives is sweet as. CoD sets a machine as a host which reports to a server and all others to the server. So you create the room so to speak. ITs not got the server options like a PC, and i doubt ever will, but if you want seamless fun instant online gaming consoles are the coming along leaps and bounds. |

not had any problems with my stats on this PS3 I use m16+silencer, UAV jammer and endurance or M16+ red dot, stopping power and deep penetration. When I get the P90 everything changes. |

not had any problems with my stats on this PS3 I only started having the problem yesterday, so if you haven't played this weekend you probably won't have noticed it. Going by the number of posts in the IW forums, it seems to be widespread. Play a game online and note how much XP you need to rank up. Go back to the Multiplayer main menu and then log back into "Play Online" and see how much XP you need to rank up now...it should've reset back to where it was before the game you just played |
