I actually think US comedy guys like Letterman, Larry David, Adam Sandler have a lot of individual style and I have always looked up to them for inspiration. Their basic philophy seems to be: be comfortable, wear what you want but don't look like an idiot.

Friends was a very stylish show, middle guy's suit patns are perfect, I like the fit of the jacket but I do a 3 button being taller than him:

i think we need to establish whether you think larry david etc have consciously made an effort with their clothes in an attempt to create this style you seem to love, or whether you know it's 100% coincidence and you just happen to really like what they wear. Because I'm pretty sure that larry david doesnt wear those shit jackets over tshirts with shit sneakers in an effort to develop his individual style.

as for friends, you know they're all fictional characters right? matthew perry didnt think 'friends is a great chance for me to encapsulate 90's americana style', they're all fictional characters who were styled by the people making the show. i dont mind you trying to dress like them, it doesnt affect me in the slightest, but preaching about them like they're fashion icons.....come on son, come on.

dude the only person who should wear a tiny suit is Pee Wee Herman and that's because he's a completely ridiculous (and hilarious) character that isn't a real person.

No, LD and DL etc are actually into clothes, they go shopping and pick stuff out themselves> Why do you think George on Seinfeld (Who is LD in real life) is such a snappy dresser? Many episodes of Seinfeld and Curb (Based on LD's day to day life) have people (including himself) picking out clothes, nice shirts, nice jackets etc.

LD DOES actually care what he wears, he just doesn't care about what's in fashion, same as me. I wouldn't wear his sneakers or his clothes but I respect his outlook on the world.

You're obviously not a DL fan either otherwise you would know his company is called Worldwide PANTS, he made his own "Letterman" jackets (haha but they're actually nice), he definately has a solid NYC style on his days off and his suits would be styled but to what his tastes are and they're outstanding. Best suits on TV by far.

Yeah the characters on Friends were styled but they looked good in loose fitting stuff. Better than tight shit would have.

Letterman and me are the same height, I've always looked up to him for style inspiration:

"I wouldn't give the problems with your argument to a monkey on a rock"

Solid weekend style, even does the practical longsleeve pullover with cargo shorts for comfort thing I do.

so boss, I'm gonna do white socks when I have a more secure job:

no it's more like a cool change so you put it on after a warm day to keep core temperature up.

vary with waterproof fabrics for summer rain storms. added advantage of not getting wet pants.

well if you don't wear a tight rain jacket like a fag then the rain will actually mostly drip past the shorts and as for the rest of the leg, a wet leg is better than wet pants.

I actually do wear a tight rain jacket.... since nothing screams stylish like having the wind making you look like a hot air balloon during a storm.

Not trolling, just annoys me that no one can see past current trends to see that loose fitting business wear is possible.

So everyone just thinks this is normal now?:
