Not to be controversial because I love fuk but I wish it wouldn't promote this shit. |

Yeah kinda agree, when i saw the add the other day i thought it was a shit idea for them to get promotion with an ugly advert thats also illegal(i think?) for the sake of as you say '1k of their crappy clothing'. |

i think the idea is that you don't actually damage anything in the process. devil's advocate and all that... |

I'd say the company proposing this are on thin ice. I can just picture 50 "wasteman's" dead on a railtrack with these stencils hanging out of their back pockets. |

fucking cheap adertising tho. great idea for boxfresh |

Cheap initially. Illegal though, so may cost more in the long run. |

|
hhmm, i'm not so hot on the law, how/why is it illegal? |
| Best |

cheap, played out, obvious and perfect for a shit brand like boxfresh |

surely it would be the gimp who puts it on buckingham palace flag pole that gets screwed over rather than boxfresh? |

|

|
yeah the comp is proper waste. who would think- guerilla marketing gone shit. there are loads of the big A0 posters put up round shoreditch over the club nights and music posters- i guarantee they were printed and put up by boxfresh or the ad agency. no way would any normal person have the facilities or manpower to do it. what's £1k anyway? every piece from the whole season's range? |

Incitement innit. "In English criminal law, incitement is an anticipatory common law offence and is the act of persuading, encouraging, instigating, pressuring, or threatening so as to cause another to commit a crime." |

think the stickys a bit strong as well...the carnaby or laptop didnt get a sticky and i know what id rather win. |
| tomgoodfella |
|
|
|
yeah fair enough on that point, but surely the person doing the 'cutnpasting' will get prosecuted too. "honestly officer, i'm only doing it to win a competition" besides, the only places i've seen these is on top of other posters which are already there illegally and so it won't be an offence. would piss off the music/events promoters though... |

The sticky annoyed me. |

couldnt some one just photoshop the whole thing (yes andy) |

you're right, course the person doing the cuntnpastin is breaking the law but incitement is against the law. Companies are seen to have a moral obligation and probably much more cash to fine. Plus they make shit clothes so it's only fair they get stung |

i dont really like it, but if it pays for brad and maz to do what they keep on doing then i hold no anomosity. They could spend all the money in the world on whatever advertising campaign they wanted, but they wont be able to change their chav image, so its money down the drain and into brads pockets, which is fair play to brad in my eyes. |

Who edited the title? I thought the C word was OK here now? |

Who edited the title? I thought the C word was OK here now? Whatever you think about the brand in question, ads keep the place going. There's a very free reign here compared to most forums, and we really want to keep it that way - but that means everyone doing their bit as well. |

how come they didnt just do a fuk competiton in its own right tho ben, if Sony can how come they dont have to...what did they do to warrant themselves a 'sticky' on here for a nationwide competition...the adverts big and bad enuff, just seems a bit cheap to me. |
