Who's feeling it?

I started commuting by bike about 3 months ago and I'm loving it - free, green, wicked exercise, quicker than a bus and good fun too. Totally converted.

I want to get a new bike at some point, anyone get any tips? Any fans of single-speeds?

didn't need to shorten it nick, was exactly the same length as my old one (assuming that the old one that came with the bike was the right length in the first place Laughing out loud )

just as i was thinking I have never had a problem with the snap on link on my bike it goes ahead and pings off while I was riding through town. Didnt even pull a skid, luckily I came to a stop as the chain was still half attached. But yeah, now slightly worried about the snap on link

the mechs and cabling is di2 - the shifters are custom so a bit of a hack, work well, one click up and down, multiple clicks when not moving move the mech when in motion

for the front is fine

for the rear id prefer a hold and multiple shift, alas not to be, although the campag eps now does this

I'm guessing its not a girls bike, due to the shape of the frame.

yeah its not a girls bike but she said she wanted something a bit more racey than a typical girls bike with baskets and flowers. its a viking path frame from the 70s with period correct components. really nice
