Who's feeling it?

I started commuting by bike about 3 months ago and I'm loving it - free, green, wicked exercise, quicker than a bus and good fun too. Totally converted.

I want to get a new bike at some point, anyone get any tips? Any fans of single-speeds?

Nah bought the frame seperately, he has a B43 and H+ Sons.

decals come off easy as pie. hair dryer to heat them up, peal them off and then white spirit to get rid of any residue

My first ever mtb. Cannondale SL3. Only ever rode bmx, which I stopped about 2 years a go. Rode the 4 mile home from the bike shop, and now I feel EPIC.

Going to change the pedals to sealed flats and that's about it for now.

Some of the stuff looks a bit gimmicky and I rip through jeans fast, I doubt dropping extra on some jeans that will rip just as fast is worth it really (I usually by cheapo denim for cycling so I don't go into depression when i get blowouts)

Cheap Monday denim for cycling. The elastane makes them indestructible.

I got the 511's and they're pretty stretchy although the water-resistance wears off fast.

This came last week:

New to disc-brakes though, is there any way to reduce the humming?

In the market for a new cycle computer and found a pretty good deal on a Garmin Edge 200 at Wiggle...

1. Sign up to the newsletter for a £5 voucher.
2. Buy a Garmin Edge 200 at £116.99 (down from £129.99 with their Le Tour 10% discount).
3. Take a photo of your old cycle computer and send it to Garmin for £30 cash back.

Total cost £86.99.
