Who's feeling it?

I started commuting by bike about 3 months ago and I'm loving it - free, green, wicked exercise, quicker than a bus and good fun too. Totally converted.

I want to get a new bike at some point, anyone get any tips? Any fans of single-speeds?

have you got padded shorts? much better than even the most comfortable saddle. Can wear under normal shorts etc (just dont wear boxers as well).

I recommend - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-aeron-cycling-short/ as the best value for money shorts

How do these fit mate?

medium is 33-35 id say size up if you were a 35 or possibly even 34

Might as well order both sizes, wiggle do free delivery and you can return for free using the collect+ service

edit* probably cant return this type of item, check with them?

I wear a bib when cycling. Very comfortable. I just picked one up in Evans

That F85 at £600 is a great price. Would there be a considerable difference between 58cm and 60cm frames? or is it just a case of heightening the seat post a bit and maybe a longer stem?

keep in mind the different types of bikes ie touring and cyclocross, will have different geometries resulting in the need for a different size. cyclocross bike will have a higher bottom bracket clearance so it may be a size or two smaller than what you would take for a road or touring bike..

can anyone recommend any good 700c tyres thinking about vittoria randeurs or whatever they are called as they are dirt cheap on wiggle right now as a tiny bit of glass thrashed up my inner tube beyond repair because I'm using a terrible tyre that's pinching all of my tubes so they burst on everything.

I have specialized armadillos and not wanting to tempt fate but very rarely get punctures
