Dior Coat - fake or not?!

Hello! I'm new here, just hoping some of the fashionistas on this board can give me some advice. Okay, so you know we're all in the search of that perfect winter warmer, and I think I've found mine. It is a beautiful Dior military style double-breasted coat, which I stumbled across on Ebay. But I guess it would make it an extra special purchase if I knew that what I was buying was not a cheap fake, you know? What do you guys think? Is it the real deal or am I dealing with a dodgy Hong Kong money-maker?! I think it's the price more than anything that's making me suspect - wouldn't a genuine Dior coat of that kind be hundreds of pounds more? Or is it because it's on the other side of the world that it is that cheap? AAH! I love it but I'm confused!!! Any opinions greatly appreciated. Cheers - Drew. |

Fake. There's been a load of dodgy outerwear coming out of HK recently, the Paris hangtag is the wrong way round for one. |

Guess you could always buy it and then do a paypal reversal on him and then you have the best of both worlds. A coat and your money back. |

Oh crap... I'm a bit bummed about that... Okay, so if the original Dior was 'de-engineered' to get the measurements, would that mean that the measurements and fit of the coat would be that of the genuine version? The item description says that the material is 90% wool 10% cashmere... So is that bullshit?! Aah I am gutted. What is paypal reversal by the way?! It sounds a bit naughty! |

I'd make a response regarding my/your avatar but I lost interest after "worst" than mine. So anyway, about the original subject of this thread, do you guys think the cut of the coat will be the same as that of the original? I really want to bid on this but I'm just a little reserved about it...! |

no, i doubt they went out and spent 800 on a coat. Probably done from pics. Plus the quality will probably not be up to much Anyway, drew, buy it and you help fund their (scamming ebay fukers) business in counterfeits and money from counterfeits funds criminal gangs, drug trafficing blah blah blah (no worthy twat) |

On a terrible side note - what coat is Matt Willis wearing in his new video - is it dior? The song is really bland and there's an old school beamer in the video if that narrows down what im talking about. sorry to hijack this thread but it seems resolved now and it'll still attract the dior peeps. |
