I was going to stick a tardis in the background, but then I realised I should be concentrating on the report I have due in on Friday rather than editing gif images!

Everyone seems to agree that the quality of Dior Homme this season has been atrocious - so how come you still want to buy it even in the sale - paying less isn't going to up the standard.

Like with so many things, it may have started off being seen as a design elite by a select few, but now it has become a bandwagon on which people are jumping on for its associations rather than the quality of the clothes themselves.

its become probably the first big aspirational lifestyle brand for young men, coats, jeans, sneakers, bags, colognes, wallets, ipod cases, musical associations. it now seems more about the brand and ethos of the name rather than a design thing, anyone can see how cool the Luster stuff looked for instance - as pieces of design, but 95% of people on here buy safari jackets, tees, jeans and bombers, quite staple men's pieces, but with the dior cachet.
hence they know they will still get away with ramping construction standards down and its still going to shift

Yeah, you're right.
Some of the stuff is okay though - I've never had any trouble with jeans or trousers.
