dirty bed sheets

bit of a random question, but is it possible to get ill from not changing your bed sheets and covers? Had a look on google but couldn't really find anything. I don't mean allergy type illnesses, i mean like flu type feelings. I was ill before i went away travelling, fine while i was out there (literally felt better straight away) and have been ill since i've been back... only thing i can think of is that i've been a bit lazy at changing my sheets |
