Ok Ive not had this happen before and Im getting very concerned " Ive been ad "

i CONTACTED A seller to ask if he could get me something in a different size to his auction
he said yes and we agreed on a price . He then said I should bid on his currrent auction and he would then close it and send me an invoice . So I bid on his auction , now he has emailed me to tell me that he will let the auction run its course ...

Im getting concerned that Ive now bid and obliged to buy something in the wrong size or should I retract my bid and risk the wrath of ebay

Retract bid and put the shitters up him by saying you have contacted ebay as he asked you to bid unlawfully and he can expectto hear from them in due course

Feel free to retract it but I would say what has happened is once you bid he realised if he lets the auction run its course you can pay the agreed amount and he'll send you the right size, otherwise if he gets another bid he's earned more on this auction and he can just set up a BIN for your purchase. He should have told you though.

I've got a similar situation. I asked about a Buy It Now price, and after agreeing on it, the seller told me to place a bid and he'd stop the auction....Pause for thought now...

Thought I'd use this thread...

Sold a pair of Stussy Huarache Lights to a fella in Thailand for £21. He has jusst emailed me saying that "the sole has some yellow and is not new" Puzzled plus the box was damaged (no lid). Fair enought the box didn't have a lid, but the shoes are definitely deadstock (as stated in the description.

He wants $20 back of he says he'll neg me and tell ebay that I'm a cheat Laughing out loud
