The person who sold it has reached their paypal limit.

Anyone had a parcel sent to them via USPS?

Says it was "Processed through USPS Sort Facility" in Miami on the 16th but haven't had an update since then. Would it likely mean it's in transit to the UK?

Friend of mine needs some info. What's the deal with buying festival tickets on eBay? Tickets usually arrive like a week before the event, so if you were to buy one today and the festival was, for example in August, which is outside of Paypal's 30-day claim limit, you'd be fucked and the seller could do "a runner", right? Or is there some clause that can help you?

Think it's 45 days, but suppose that means it's still outside the window. You can only raise an issue with eBay within 45 days and think that applies to paypal. Suppose if you paid using credit card you would be covered by that. You can't even leave feedback after that period either so the threat of negative feedback wouldn't help.

Personally wouldn't do it, but suppose if the seller has 100% positive feedback then it might be less of a risk.

Thought the dispute period was 45 days for Paypal, 60 days for eBay?

Just checked the FAQ

A case has to be submitted within 45 days from the date of payment.

Think the 60 days is for feedback, but I'm sure it used to be 90 days!

I paid for a bass on Wednesday and was told by the seller he get it shipped on Thursday, however, this didn't happen though it was scheduled and was told he get it sorted it for Friday. This time he wasn't in, and apologised and said the next date he can get it shipped would be Wednesday after the Jubilee.

So I'm kinda miffed since I said I did want the bass by Saturday, however, I asked him for a refund since my mate was driving me to Southampton where I could buy a bass there instead since he was coming home from Uni. I txt the guy asking for a refund but heard nothing back, so could I get a refund via paypal and if so am I wrong in doing so?

^ has the seller got a good feedback score? If he doesn't want to risk negative feedback he'll be more likely to agree to cancel the transaction.

Just got a card through asking for £11.11 in charges. The item was only $24.99 Evil Evil
