word of warning...

do you know they are really low rise? got mine on today and they are nut crunchers, not cos the fit is 'tight' as such, but something about low rise really does not suit a bloke's anatomy.

There are couple of Narrow legged Edwins, I tried on a couple in the Edwin store, one of them were these Japanese ones, dyed twice... 270 smackers, another pair were rainbow selvedge ones.

Remember you can get decent non-selvedge jeans, selvedge isn't the be all and end all of jeans.

those julian red's do look fully fly. Rirawin from reading your posts on here and on CT, you seem to be a man who know's a thing or 2 about denim. Im basically after some skinny jeans that aren't as drastic as cheap mondays, but like an all round good fit. any ideas?

the edwin greenvilles are tapered and a nice cut if you can find them.

the regular cheap mondays are cool too.

In january I was selling a supply of Edwins on ebay that had the nicest glossiest finish I had ever seen on raw denim.

Took some nice photos of them, everyone was emailing me asking 'I love the colour! do you have my size? I just want to check they are selvedge?'

As soon as I said they werent selvedge, 90% didnt want them.

Superfuture etc has turned people into ignorant denim snobs. Idiots arent realising you can get nice jeans that arent selvedge you know!

Its only worth choosing selvedge if you're going to have a massive turn up so everyone can notice its selvedge. Which in itself looks shit in my opinion.

(for example, people are always wanting the rainbow Ed-47 over the regular version. Errr.... they are both made in the same factory and the denim looks IDENTICAL, so why do you want to pay an extra £30 - £40 quid?)

Just got some Regular Ralphs from zoovillage for €95 am happy with that. I still want the rainbows though and can't find any 32W 34L (I want the "massive turn up so everyone can notice its selvedge")
