always wanted to design cars, started a car design course, didn't enjoy it, decided I wanted to become a jeweller, transferred to a jewellery and metalwork course, entered a competition to design 250th anniversary glasses for Dollond & Aitchison, won it, things went from there (slowly Laughing out loud)

I'd say it would be in your favor to get out of York, maybe being in a big city with more industry and competition you will be more motivated to work hard and succeed in your chosen field.

Couldn't see anything when I was in there (no obvious joke about needing glasses).

On average id say around 40hrs a week, thats excluding any evening functions.

Been known to work around 70+ hrs in our peak time of Jan-March.

My contract hours are around 45, but on average work about 60 per week. For the first 7/8 weeks of this year I was doing up to 100 hours per week.

I work between 50-80 hrs a week on average, this is a slow week, working just 4 days, still 45-50hrs.
the season is coming to an end so I finally will get a break (less money however)

Jawdropping! I start to get itchy feet if i'm asked to stay half hour later than my contracted time. Commitment is not one of my strong points

my mister does about the same, he clearly doesn't get paid enough.

i'm contracted to do 35 per week. i usually do a little more than that, but unless we've got something huge on i make a point of working no more than 40 hours per week.

life is short.

you see this is the thing im trying to work/figure out. life is short and where do i draw the line at working too hard. for the next month i am constantly traveling around the uk and Europe and i wont have any social life what so-ever. ive been out of uni for 18/19months and in that time i have completely lost the ability to be able to chat up a girl in a club, i seem to blabble on about my job.
