For anything work related... a thread to answer questions about employment.

- Seek advice and ask about work or post information about potential job opportunities that you think might be of interest to other Fukers.
- For work dilemmas and queries or just general chatter.

There's always a great deal of talk spread across threads regarding employment and work - (Universities, Teaching English).
What with many of you being workers: use your knowledge to field those questions and help each other out.

No guarantee you'll be working on anything too exciting when you get there either.

Depends which department. It sounds like you're describing either the account handlers or planners!

Regardless to your degree, you'll have a tough time breaking into the creative department of an advertising agency without understanding what they're after. It'll mean 12 months of getting a spec portfolio together (which will be shit I guarantee) 2/3 years of crits, placements and being in the right place at the right time.

First hand experience right here.

Planners, poorly read?

Sounds cool.
Once that's done, what would you do? Would you go on to manufacture any drugs etc?

have some good examples of times when you've come across excellent customer service, why it was so good, and how you can apply it

thanks, i should add that ive worked in retail for almost 20 years so have numerous examples of exceeding expectations
im thinking more KPI's, examples of how i'll motivatie a team/grow the business/develop customer base etc
