For anything work related... a thread to answer questions about employment.

- Seek advice and ask about work or post information about potential job opportunities that you think might be of interest to other Fukers.
- For work dilemmas and queries or just general chatter.

There's always a great deal of talk spread across threads regarding employment and work - (Universities, Teaching English).
What with many of you being workers: use your knowledge to field those questions and help each other out.

My brother is after a new job.
He's in the graphic design field (print based media i think) has 1.5 yrs experience so far after uni.

Are there any specific agencies that act for graphic designers or is most of it word of mouth?
Dont know much about this field so thought id ask the designers on here for advice.

Also, Jairo, you have a pm as i may be able to help out on your PWC query

Apart from the obvious one, you can earn a fair bit stacking shelves at night in supermarkets, infact anything that you do in anti-social hours will pay well.

when I was at uni I used to look for non-office work as I really didn't want to spend my holidays in an office. had a succession of low-paid shit jobs from an agency, and was offered (but declined) the job of cleaning the sewers. which involved going down there with a power washer and blasting the shit off the walls basically Laughing out loud a mate of mine did it and was on something ridiculous like 150 quid a day

do Dior do overalls?
