Anyone own anything or know much about this brand ? Saw some of their stuff on oipolloi earlier and thought the jackets looked really nice but a bit pricey.

Anyone know when the Bureau are getting their AW drop in-store and online?

I've emailed them twice over the past few weeks but had no reply (which admittedly is unlike them).

The Bureau are starting to put new stuff up, only hats, scarves, ties and pocket squares at the moment, but fucking loads of them, reckon this will be a massive collection when it's all up.

some EG have dropped on end. really want the USN pants and cord cap.

quick question - anyone bought anything from inventory before? i've not bought anything from the US / canada in ages so i don't really know what to expect in extra charges? can you get fucked by import taxes or whatever? cheaper by about £45 even including shipping to get a shirt from them rather than a shop here in europe.

Inventory don't agree to mark down. They just say that their shipping agent is responsible for all their Customs declarations and that they will put in a request (which basically means you will pay fees).

That £45 saving will easily be swallowed up by the charges. Most couriers now charge a "handling/admin" fee on top of the actual Customs charges.

I received a pair of Quoddys last year which had been marked as $50 gift. If I remember correctly, the Customs fees were around £9 and the handling/admin fee was £12.

Since they started the admin charges it's becoming increasingly more hassle to order direct from the states. I now almost exclusivley use one of the forwarding services like Bundlebox, you can set the value of the items you get super low so VAT is miniscule, plus the stuff gets to you 3-4 days after it hits the box.
