I'll play the race card on this one. He deserves a place in the squad but id be suprised/annoyed if he played.

Whats this squad for?

I dunno who it is but im sure we are missing a few big players in there...Ashley Cole is injured isnt he? We deffo need another striker in there. That 17 year old should be in the squad even for a try out cant remember his name though (no goldfish)

Yeah thats the one, admittedly he isnt the best yet but i think he deserves a try after all the criticism he has got and the hype. Him with Rooney would work i think. Lennon showed in the World Cup that defenders couldn't cope with pace and Walcott is faster than him.

Last thing Walcott needs is more pressure of being included in the full squad. That and the advice from a man who is inept at being a human let alone being a manager.

I feel so sorry for him though (obviously he is minted and has a fit girlfriend) he got hyped and didnt get a chance and now never plays for Arsenal when he couldve been a star in the Championship...Pointless debate he isnt in the team FACT.

I know I'm fairly............OK very critcal of the engurland team on here but that squad is pretty bad is it not? Alot of (unnecessary) changes.
It's not as if I have anything to rip into england about after the Scotland squad got announced the other day. Steven Thompson?!?! Bring back Berti! Evil

Does a good job in a few positions. He's just a squad player. I would like him to still be at United. Does a much better job than O'Shea in midfield.

I guess Hargreaves is only there to meet up with the squad, I'd be surprised if he played much. SWP is there to remind him what a football pitch looks like.

Why no David James or Sol Campbell, both have been immense for Portsmouth, wheras players like Jenas have done absolutely nothing all season.

I'd say the same about this lot:

Ben Foster (Manchester United, on loan to Watford)

Wayne Bridge (Chelsea)
Micah Richards (Manchester City)
Michael Dawson (Tottenham Hotspur)
Jonathan Woodgate (Middlesbrough on loan from Real Madrid)

Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea)
Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough)
Jermaine Jenas (Tottenham Hotspur)
Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
Kieron Dyer (Newcastle United)
