How was this? Started to regret not getting a ticket when I could hear (what I'm pretty sure was) the Mad Villain from
My balcony, sounded pretty distorted (from Bedminster) though. Could hear Mike Skinner perfectly as I tried to get my head down for an early night though. (CSB etc)

Got back from the Movement festival in Detroit...WOW!
Amazing city, amazing festival and some of the best after parties ive been to - all very intimate.
The locals have so much love for Detroit its untrue, D tatoos everywhere!
Other than DJs we didnt meet any other English, people were amazed we travelled so far and the hospitality we received was another level.
In ten years of travelling for clubs and festivals this was by fgar my best experience!

Unbelievable mate, cant wait for next year. We had a list of 32 after parties over the 4 days so we could only scratch the surface.

Cool Wish id booked outlook now, managed to convince myself glastonbury would be like going abroad again this year but so far looks like it's just gonna piss it down if this weather carries on like this. Might be going to hip hop kemp in the Czech Republic whilst doing some travelling though anyone been?

I haven't been before but a squad of my mates go to Kemp every year and say it's amazing every time. If you're a big fan of underground hip hop or whatever you want to call it, I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Ye some real sick people playing so hopefully gonna get it together. 25p a pint in some places aswell apparently. Do youre mates pay the extra £20 for the VIP ticket or just the standard ticket, we ain't really sure what to go for

im on 15 too Cool

i fucked up though, i bought a sin city first of all because i wanted to go, was just banking on meeting some sound people to go with. and obviously a few of my mates didnt bother getting up so i bought them 2 foreign beggars tickets because i know they like them. then i realised that theres only half an hour between the two....fingers crossed i get back in time to check them in to theirs i guess?

Just texted one of them, he said they've never gone VIP and doubt it'd be worth it. You're meant to meet acts and get better security (I'm not sure what that entails) but they've always decided against it and last year one of the guys they met who was in the VIP actually ended up paying to get in to the regular area because it was more of a bounce.

A quick heads up for any of the Sonar crew heading out via Girona this Wednesday-Monday: http://www.ryanair.com/en/notices/gops/110610-Girona_Pos_strike-GB - Unfortunately that includes me, taking 10 days of supplies in one backpack will be a fucking nightmare if this doesn't get worked out Cry

Nice one for the info mate, the appeal was really the swimming pools and more showers for the vip but will stick to the regular then.

Ciaran you should of booked it Sad think Duff might be selling his ticket.

Nick, my mate didn't wake up in time, so don't think he got anything, will give the Swamp 81 ticket to him. Irration should be good though. You sorted your transfers to and from the airport?

AMEN. As usual I've got fuck all. Better get my shit together. Chemicals on the other stage has to be the main highlight followed by Orbital DJ set at Arcadia.
