damn, they are going to be too big, i've been after these for ages but all the ones on ebay are 28" or 46"

The Gap outlet in Swindon had the Gap version of these for £15 in a variety of sizes, maybe a slightly looser cut though.

Best - try TKMaxx , my local has a pair in a sand/beige stripe (as above) really nice with a cinch back for £20. Fantastic shorts but too small for me. If you do and come across a 34 then would appreciate a pick up on them.
