The front measurement is done down the buttons only and the back measurement is from the lowest point on the shoulder to the hem. Add 4" to both measurements to get an accurate full-body measurement.
So actual measurements of front/back:
body length, front 25.0"
body length, back 26.8"
EDIT: Added more pics, included tape measure to show full-body measurement.
