Had a great/good/indifferent/downright awful meal at a restaurant, then please add it in here and describe what you had, value for money, ambience and quality of the grub etc. (if you can get a pic of the place or nick the menu to show on here than all the bettter)
doesnt matter where it is, if you liked it or hated it, then tell us all.
please no b.k, maccydees, k.f.c or nandos.....cos contrary to popular opinion on here, these are not fine dining nor proper restaraunts.

to start the thread off, here is the 2009 top 50 places to eat in the world this year, anonced this week.
suprisingly 'the fat duck' retains its second place even after making hundreds of people viloently ill and having to shut for nearly a month.

Admiral Codrington - Sloane Avenue

went to check out the burger after hearing so much about it.

had the chilli squid to start, which i thought was too over powering and over done. prefer the chilli squid at basaba

had the burger, thought it was alright. nothing fancy just an 8oz cheeseburger.
dunno if it is worth the £15 price tag.
was a decent meal, but not sure if it deserves all the hype/good press its recieved.
not the "2nd best burger in london", and not worth £100 with wine...
awesome retractable roof however... perfect last night.

Bhukara is easily the best curry I've had in Glasgow (still to try out Charcoals/Mother India but it beats Mother India's Cafe by a long shot) had something with Monkfish and it was quality. The service was great too and boxing the leftovers wasn't a problem Cool

Shish Mahal on Park Road is pish, despite claiming to have invented Tikka Masala, avoid.

Went the the Novikov at the end of last year during a few days stay at the mayfair hotel, upstairs is thai and downstairs is italian.
We opted for the italian this time around.

Gorgeous experience all round, staff were all on point from the young girl with the bread to the old Italian guy who was obviously in charge walking around asking how everything was in-between singing in italian.

Probably the best eating experience i've had to date.

If it's a date, don't go to burger and lobster, unless you both get rolls. As Anthony Bourdain suggests, never take a lady for lobster on a first date.
