Did them at the beginning today, hit 150 for 3, but the rest of my workout was a shambles. Some balance to be found I guess.

made some progress with the squats today, moved back to the smith machine, low bar, wide-ish stance and then changed up my grip to be wider as well which made a lot of difference. Only doing 90kg but it's a start now and something to build off now my form is better. thanks for the advice.

Brown rice/white fish/steamed veg is a mainstay dinner for me during the week but it's fucking bland.

Any tips for a low-cal sauce to go with it?

Thai green curry paste is great on white fish, make it fresh (ginger, garlic, lemongrass, green chilli, coriander leaf and fish sauce blended together) and then smear it over the fish before steaming.

Get on Aldi's frozen salmon fillets and/or tuna steaks (assuming you dont dislike both). Great with a simple marinade of soy, ginger, sesame oil and balsamic.

Franks Red Hot sauce for me.
I've been on a specific diet for about 6 weeks now, and food is becoming tiresome and harder to eat.
So I blended chicken with greens powder and water the other day and drank it. Was so much easier.
Now do the same with tuna as well.

I've been using Aldi Basa fish for maximum cheapness. Best budget white fish i've found by a long way.

What's the score with weight gain training? Has consensus changed from 5x5 compound lifts and then eating as much as possible? Cheers
