Recently bought one on here, and really like it, but am not sure if the 'new' new oxford is different at all?

Can anyone tell me if the difference between them is really noticable?

'New' new oxford (i think)

'Old' new oxford (I think, and this is the one I bought recently)

Cheers peeps.

New one says lightweight, most likely a thinner more summery weight.

I have both....the new one is definitely thinner and a ever so slightly different material-it's not in a bad way though, just different. The new one feels like the actual weave or threads are finer, so lacks abit of the 'chunky' feel of the old one.

The colour on the new one is also a bit of a darker, duller blue, which imo, isnt as nice as the old one. I also think the cut is abit different on the new one, slightly slimmer, slightly better. Collar also sits up slightly more on the new one.

Personally, if i could get the old one, i probably would, purely cos the colour is spot on.
Hope this helps!
