Girlfriend wants some straight legged, raw denim jeans (maybe with selvedge)- budget is about £40-60, but doesn't really know where to look apart from the high street.

Any chance of some help from the female members?

There are lots of straight leg, raw denim jeans, i don't really know exactly what you like. Try this link for your fashion jeans http://www.thefind.com/apparel/info-blasted-denim

Hope that's help.

For your budget Gap or Diesel..

Citizens of humanity jeans are the best fitting I have found.. But they are a little out of the price range..

Cheap Mondays?

ASOS - they have a few brands on there...

Yeah, if you want straight leg - no skinny jean thang - you should go for APC ones, good denim, but they are more than £60, but would last you I rekon.

The g/f picked up a pair of the YMC Jap raw jeans the other day, straight to slight taper and seem a nice fit - only probs they were £130 so twice the budget you are asking for.

I find Cheap Mondays a bit baggy round the ankles actually.

Gap have just bought out a new range of denim and they have some nice styles and washes there, I got some skinnies and they retailed about about £40.

Why don't you get her a pair of the new dior womens ones for that money?

Does it involve going to a shop because I don't really want to do that.

pretty good selection of jeans on net-a-porter and shopbop.com
J Brand skinnies are very very nice imo.

One site had pictures of the designers themselves, this put me off some brands.

I did think about J brand. It was a choice of that, Genetic Denim or Current Elliott.
My research was basically going on denimology.com looking at all the female celebs I liked and seeing what skinny jeans they had on.

what are the womens jeans supposed to be? i saw that site someone linked but it's just pictures of mens? jeans and says they're for women. no sizes or can't order?
then having to go back every month to see the updates?

i've seen women in dior jeans but i presume they are size 26? the shirts/jackets they (the women) wear/are wearing, are the mens range.
