About three of the things dotted about the room out of arms reach so you have to get up to turn them off usually does the trick. |

actually i meant a sloth who needs a hearing aid. a phone call does it for me, if i'm forced to engage in converstation then i perk up whereas i can easily turn off any number of alarms without really waking up. |

put your stereo a fair bit away from your bed and then set it so that moyles comes on really bloody loud.. that way you have to get up to turn him down/switch the fat fuck off.. |

Yea but its dark when i get up, simiar effect though. If you face the alarm then the light is very bright, makes you squint even with your eyes shut. i always seems to sleep facing away, thats why i dont get woken. |

They have a back up alarm that you can turn on or off, if that wakes you up atleast its light in your room and your eyes are adjusted to light already. Depends on how sesetive your eyes eye to light when you sleep. Years of sleeping with my blind open makes it easy for me to sleep when its light. |

I got one of these for my brother's birthday (he's in the Army) and it's shite, not loud at all, just mildly annoying. so disappointed |
