on the subject, i ate a guinea pig while in peru,

really nice it was, not a lot of meat on the bone, it was obviously gutted but with the head and hands still attached, teeth, claws and some fur - not a pretty sight.

i'd say it tasted like gamey chicken.

Weird, I read that list this morning, along with the Weird Sex Toys. Did you find it after looking at that massive crab thing in the picture thread?

hmm, have you tried eating preserved pork filled with maggots? In the Philippines there's a place where it is their delicacy... gross but its really yummy...

I disagree, there are some animals that were clearly made to be food and they serve no other useful purpose i.e chickens, cows, pigs. Wheras animals like dogs and horses do serve other purposes and clearly were never meant as a food source for humans.

Negatron surely, the animals' lifestyle and diet will affect how edible the meat is - in some case making it inedible.

Also I cant take you saying "meat is meat" seriously because of the connotations. Shocked

cows werent eaten (much) in south east asia before the french got there, because they were too valuable for ploughing and pulling carts etc
