Just tried to resuscitate a bird (no mouth to mouth) that my shit of a cat had caught in my back garden. It was still alive, holding it for about 10 mins trying to get a number for the RSPCA who don’t do fuck all apparently, so I put it in dark box like as advised by some sanctuary website and it died. Ruined my night.

My last Cat (R.I.P) used to catch small birds, bite their head off and bring them to us as a present if you will. You could tell she was so proud of herself Smiling

Yeah I had that before with my previous cat Smiling , but this is just toying with them and causing the birds go into a state of shock, which then apparently kills. I’ll be proper pissed off if this happens regularly. Might purchase a decent collar with a bell as prevention.

Allow it man it's nature as noble said. If you catch it doing that, just throw some water on it (preferably not the bird)

My two bring in frogs and hide them away. Then, at night, they play with them. Frogs make a horrible noise when cornered (CSB)

I live in a semi-rural area near streams and don’t see frogs. Last time I saw a hedgehog was probably 15 years ago.

Got a pond. See loads of frogs. And the occasional drowned hedgehog.

See frogs all the time, saw one today in this pond overflow - dog soon frightened it off though...

Also saw a fox a couple of days ago 'bout 4pm'ish just running up the middle of a local housing estate road (csb).
