Yes, that's in position. The wall can't be removed more than that as there is a toilet behind that wall. I don't think the camera perspective helps as it makes the rest seem miles away.

Any one got any Wardrobe recommendations? just found out the mrs is up the duff so the walk in wardrobe (spare room) will becoming a nursery! I don't have much space so cant go massive 140" or less ideally. I'm concidering all my options at the moment fitted etc.
I really like modern mid century but living in a new house, carpeted etc I'm not so sure vintage would work, plus its a twat to find the right thing, any where making nice cheapish repos of this kind of thing?
any suggestions welcome (not just mid century).

Laughing out loud I love fuk, first thought on finding out you're having a baby is the walk in wardrobe has to go.
Congratulations.

Thanks inwonderland. That didn't come across right Laughing out loud using the spare room as a wardrobe with cheap clothes racks was only ever a temp thing anyway, we planned to get a fitted thing from sliderobes or similar but they're a rip off and I think I'd rather have something freestanding (at least you can take it with you)

Bought an Ikea Pax sliding doors one recently for my dressing room, its pretty good. Think the smallest size is 150 though. Had some extra drawers put in and it's plenty big enough for my stuff

The ones i've had before have lasted ages, just get a decent diy bod to put them up properly

The ikea pax wardrobes are very good, probably one of the best items in the store. (some)Laquered doors, strong carcass's, good slide mechanism and loads of interior fittings.

Not sure they'd have the style you want though, as most of them are minimal. You can make them up pretty big though. Easy to build them into your wall etc...

that is the sort of style I was initially going for, they have a decent one in barker and stonehouse, I was looking at similar fitted too quality was great (sliderobes) but they are stupid money, I've got bored of the idea now though, so am looking at other options
