Cheers Dee, that was my old gaff.Living in shitty rented place till i move into new gaff (hopefully Sept) which is a 1964 Mid Century Modern Architect designed house.Bit of a project but pretty excited.

Anyone with an interest in MCM, been going to this for a few years no, not too many bargains to be had but good for getting to see pieces in the flesh & the dealers are friendly & happy to share their knowledge.

I just bought a new flat doing a total refurb which is going well so far. I was hoping to expose the brickwork on the fire place but its fucked, the mrs has got here heart set on bricks on the fireplace so I'm looking at other options - has anyone used a cladding company?

found these guys, they do mainly commercial stuff but the product looks great and roughly £40ish per sqm

Mate of mine is looking for 'contemporary prints' to decorate his new place, not looking for anything +£100. Can any Fuker recommend some sites? Pictures on walls site is too expensive for him (which is what I recommended).

Anyone know of some good blog sites for garden styles? I need to overhaul mine and need some ideas for a clean contemporary look.

@ seenmy. Is the leather shot on the 620 ? looks beautifully aged from the picture.i'd only replace if fucked. But different strokes....

Thinking about having a display wall of George Nelson clocks.I think it'll look cool. The Missus thinks it's just another sign of my klepto/OCD weirdness Sad

leather is fucked on it,I thought it was not quite as bad when I brought it but turned up not as good, got it for about 2/10 of what my 3 seater cost so,fair enough, but it needs to be fully re built, I think Im going to have it done in a missoni fabric but I'm waiting to see some options on that,it should be an easy job for a upholster as its modular, then just need to clean up or get re painted the sides which again should be straight forward enough.. (I hope) once new house is sorted can finally get shelving system in also.

next on list is eames ctm or ctw table I think.I know can get from vitra but would prefer herman miller

Have you looked at getting the leather steamed, cleaned and conditioned properly. Only seen it done on cars with gliptone and makes a massive difference

just a heads up to anyone considering buying from made, it may look tempting but i'd have a quick google and read up on their customer service before buying anything. they have some nice cheap stuff ive been tempted with in the past but have read some not so great stuff about their customer service and quality

I got the stroller desk in Walnut and i have to say that i am well impressed with the quality and the whole delivery process.

i looked at desk in John Lewis for double the price and the quality was very poor in comparison
