I forgot to take much pics before we started work so the photo below is from the schedule Stripped everything out of the room and had the walls plastered everything was going so great, then you put in a feature wall. what.the.fuck? |

on the restoration theme, I got this 1979 Taito space invaders which was dead and have restored/updated it recently. Sandblasted and re-sprayed the metal body and legs, flipped the scratched glass top and repainted underside, installed new colour monitor, 60 in one games card, joysticks, buttons, coin mech, amp with external volume knob, made new cash box for it. see the large circuit board on the left, there were 3 of them on top of each other, just to play space invaders. the old screen wasn't colour, it had coloured strips over it.
not sure what to do with it now, would like to keep hold of it as it looks good, the technology has all been updated and should last, also has that retro appeal to me but don't have space for another arcade in the flat. I don't want to become one of those people whose hobby takes over their house! |

cheers - managed to grab one of the table lamps
chairs are gonna cop one of those tabs lamps too when i get paid - cheers for link. If your talking about the the decode lamps, I don't know when you get payed but ftr that sale on lluster ends in 2 days! I wouldn't mind a couple more, but off to london for some new tattoos tomorrow so funds say no |

It is very tempting to put them into storage until i need them, but if i sold them for what they tend to go for i'd make a decent amount. In the mean time I'm going to sell something i got the other day to try and pay them off, this ercol chair: the plan was to recover it in orla kiely or something as it's obviously a bit granny at the moment....but check out the pic without the arm covers, proper nice
I've been collecting ercol for a while now. Got a day bed, arm chair, a set of green dots and square table, plus a few other dining chairs. Getting an obsession at the moment. |

All you're missing is giant novelty letters that spell out something like "peace" or "paul".
