I'm not sure if there is a jobs thread I can't see one,

Anyway if anyone knows of a person that could fit this description please let me know. I would rather it came through word of mouth than through and agency!

BUYER/OPERATIONS MANAGER
Footwear

Shoes.co.uk is a rapidly expanding online only business based in Altrincham in Cheshire selling mid to high fashion shoes to both genders including children’s.

We are looking for a business savvy, experienced, dynamic and fashion conscious individual to head up our buying function. You will have gained your buying experience in retail or mail order.

  • A killer eye for fashion for Ladies' footwear.
  • Supplier liaison for both bought and non-stock brands.
  • Good working knowledge of merchandising and planning and able to manage budgets.
  • Media savvy, interested in film, music TV, magazines and the internet.
  • Manage and motivate a small dedicated team.
  • Manage payments to suppliers.
  • Warehouse and web developer liaison.

    The remuneration will be commensurate with experience but could include a board appointment and share options for the right individual.
