Besides this I would be willing to bet that there are precious few Visvim wearers in the UK that are not aware of/check regularly/post on FUK. The average person does not buy a pair of 700 quid shoes because he sees them in a shop and likes the look of them (by which I mean people to whom £700 quid is a substantial amount - not Russian oligarchs etc).
People that care that much about clothes and spend that sort of money want to know about the brand and will obviously check the Internet and in doing so will find FUK on their e-travels.
Have to disagree with this.
Plenty of people I see in London that wear Visvim or other brands/items that are popular on here that don't know about Fuk. I'm sure it's a different story in other towns/cities.
Worst one was when someone on here said they saw someone with a pair of rolled up LVCs...they must be a Fuk'er.
have to agree with Dave on this. In London tons of people who dress in hi end ish who have no clue about Fuk and wouldnt be interested in a fashion forum despite wearing vis etc
In London. The guy spotted somebody in Great Glen

Lots of people in London that wear 'hi end' fashion don't know Fuk/frequent fashion forums.
But i'd be willing to hazard a guess that not so many people in London that wear Visvim have never heard of Fuk/visit fashion forums or blogs.

exactly. football fans go on football forums, car fans go on car forums etc etc etc.
even if its only to read on one subject, they all do. in fact ill go as far as saying every human in the modern world does.
so if they into their clobber how can they miss fuk when its the top of every search for every clothing brand. (how 90% of us found this place)

Can say with confidence that most of the media types who buy Visvim in DSM wouldnt have a clue about this site.

Internet savvy has nothing to do with it, most people who can afford to buy Visvim in DSM/Hideout on a regular basis are the type im talking about mainly 30's media guys who maybe check out Hypebeast occasionally, My old work pal is a Visvim nut and has no clue about this site. but is a regular Hypebeast viewer.
