Anything not aimed at the teen market gets a Jimmy Hill from me even if it's depraved.

Must have watched it the same night, really enjoyed it. Unbelievably shot.

Irreversible was so much better but Enter the Void was still great. Superbly shot at the very least.

went to see Take This Waltz last night for £4 at Hackney Picture House Cool Chick flick but a good chick flick. 7/10

Is irreversible as brutal as its wiki makes out?

yeah it is pretty brutal but it's an amazing piece of filmmaking.

Avengers, dunno why I bothered, hated it, genuinely cannot understand how people can rate it so highly.

^Im with you Bill. Only watchable for me because of Tony Stark and the Hulk, the rest are all very dull. Thor was gash and Captain America is a tool.

On another Comic book film i watched the new spidey and I'm with Noble thought it was great and Garlfield is a much better Parker then Maguire, plus it made me love Emma Stone a little more.

Bourne Legacy a poor mans James Bond.

Expendables 2 better than first one.

Gaspar Noé is very dark. It is brutal but I think part of it is the way the score, sounds and movement of the camera utilised throughout the film are designed to make you feel constantly unsettled and nervous, and obvious method within certain genres but Noé does it fucking well. For instance during the first 60 minuets the score stays at a constant of 27-hertz which Noé designed to produce nausea in the audience.

Have been trying to find a link to stream or download his first film la carne, but no luck. any ideas?
