A range of films over the last week:

21 Jump Street - Pretty funny, Jonah Hill has lost a lot of weight, makes him look a lot older though.

I saw the Devil - Went on recommendation from people on here, glad I saw it definitely recommended.

A Serbian Film - Also went on the recommendation from people on here, wouldn't recommend it. Shot very well though and the soundtrack is decent. Film is fucked though as expected.

Whatever the squid thing is, I think it combines with the Space Jockey and makes the Aliens that we usually know.

I think it's accepted wisdom that in Alien/Aliens lore/mythology, the xenomorphs are a creation of the Space Jockeys, a sort of bio-weapon for use against other species. From the original movies though, it looks like they fucked up and the xenomorphs rebelled and overpowered the space jockeys, wiping them out.

Yeah lovefilm is wank, apparently there are workarounds to get the US netflix to work and it's got about 100,000,000 times the amount of films.

Does anyone still use the lovefilm dvd postal service? Or am I no longer hip?

Sure that had a bigger catalogue, though all the DVDs I got were keyed.
