Seems that for whatever reason on here the levels of stupidity are rising. I fear for a great many fellow fukers and think that with help from each other we may help guide each other through life....

So you know those stupid questions you dare not ask for fear of looking foolish or maybe you have a situation that you feel the advice and experience of wiser people than you could prove invaluable, then post it here!

Maybe we can link the student thread directly to this one? Eye-wink

Won an ebay auction for a car for the missus on Sunday night, sellers gone awol and not responding to mails and his phone number on ebay is not recognised. It's worth more than I won it for so he's probably just going to fuck me off, was a spur of the moment thing when I was pissed so not too bothered but wondering what happens now? Can he just cancel the transaction and tell me to do one?

Employment law - is it illegal to dock wages to cover training/courses? I realise it may be in the contract that the cost of training/courses has to be reimbursed by the employee if they leave, but that's different to docking it from wages

This is regularly in contracts now, depends how petty your employer is as to whether they enforce it or not. I've always been able to leave on good terms / talk my way out of it

Recieved a letter saying I've been caught driving in a bus lane when I was up in Sheffield (no EVERS). Any decent comeback to get out of it or should I just cough up?

Cough up, they usually have pictures and shit. Unless you actually weren't in bus lane.

Got caught for passing a traffic light a few seconds after it went red in Kent.

I know. I run and swim in the mornings, and when I get to the office, hang my shorts out to dry. I had to collect them last night, in amongst that lot. So I fully suspect a load got in when I opened the door.

Expecting the worst this morning. Laughing out loud I've definitely been bitten as well Noble, end of the world I reckon.
