Seems that for whatever reason on here the levels of stupidity are rising. I fear for a great many fellow fukers and think that with help from each other we may help guide each other through life....
So you know those stupid questions you dare not ask for fear of looking foolish or maybe you have a situation that you feel the advice and experience of wiser people than you could prove invaluable, then post it here!

they're not all about money.. dont care what anyone says. i live in pattaya though which is the very worst for finding a decent bird. lad i live with has a bird at the moment, doesnt give her a penny... they just sit in watch movies etc... def not all about cash.

they turn down yanks and germans a lot of the time, cos they are not into them really.

sweet fuck all! she's "looking" for work though. its shit though - the minimum wage is 6 quid a day, and a full 9 to 5 shift in 7/11 is 7000 Baht a month (150 quid)..

Surely all (decent) women are interested in money no? There can't be many women who would be interested in a broke ass brother with no job / house etc. Not saying money is 100% but definitiely plays a big part...

Yes and no.
Where are you looking to rent? Private landlords are rarer than a rocking horse in London (from my experience) but that's mainly because their places don't come on the market and are kept in a circle of friends who pass the property on to one another. Private landlords rarely up the rent or when they do it isn't as much of a percentage as estate agents do and don't do it every damn year (private landlords here tend to have handfuls of properties that they've owned for years). If you get a good private landlord you're laughing, but then there's an abundance of shit ones who perhaps come round each month to collect your rent in cash and will only speak to one particular resident in the flat/house, send their 'handy man' when somethings broken who proceeds to arrive stinking of alcohol or even arrives on your door step with his toolbox and a can of beer who then does a job worser than I myself could have done...But then estate agents are a clueless bunch themselves, but at least theres more to fall back on, paper work, signatures, the law etc...But that can always be a pain in the arse say if you're flat mate up sticks back to Portugal and leaves you with 2 months of unpaid rent, so the estate agents want you to personally pay for it despite each individual occupant having separate guarantors signed to the lease...
