Yeah was concious of that Evers, a few people from work have moved in and were bigging it up, a tale tale sign really.
I have a few weeks left in notting Hill before I had back to uni for the year. My mate lived on Caledonian Rd. Was alright, nothing special I'd say though.
Im only 21 Evers so I reckon I'll go east if I come back next year. Have been looking at Barbican but places there are rarer than a rocking horse it seems.

I wouldn't bother with Bow Jordan, it's a bit far out for you and you'll want everything on your doorstep at first. powerpill is right though about London, I walk home at all hours through Hackney/Dalston on my own and have never come across a single spot of trouble.
I'm moving to Clerkenwell in September, it's somehow cheaper and far more central than my current place, cutting my journey to work in half and knocking a good 20 mins off my journey time to uni (csb). It's a room of a friends who's moving to New York - private landlord, bills included, right by Farringdon St, bobs your bloody uncle.
I remember when you told me you were 21 Lew, you're younger than me but look like you could possibly be my foreign uncle

Agree with all the comments above, lots of sound advice.
Bow is a bit nowhere, either go further to Walthamstow or Leyton/Leytonstone for cheap ok areas or nearer, Mile End, Victoria Park, etc.
I moved to Canning Town a month ago, from Leytonstone. Worst move I ever made, it's fucking dismal out here.

you couldn't possibly have an uncle as cool as me.
