Great shirts & shorts.
Always pick them up in sales though as due to them being understated, often appear not to sell well.

I met Margaret Howell and from what I can remember she isn't Scottish, she was like a typical sweet old woman, a bit like your gran. The mainline stuff is excellent quality but I always wait for it to go in the sale. The fit on the MHL stuff can be a little on the large side from experience

I like the quality of the clothing but the shirts are too long for me. Even the XS ones.

Her stuff is great quality but expensive. It's worth keeping an eye out for her sample sales - I picked up a great wool coat for £140 at one last year.

She's English, btw, and has been designing clothes since the 70s.

Are you sure?....maybe she was born just over the border...I think she should check. I'm hardly ever wrong, you know.

Bugger.
Still think she should check.

That's what's so depressing. I was well chuffed when it first opened as there was at last somewhere in edi selling good stuff. There are still the odd decent things in there (Dries etc) but so much shit it's unbelievable. I can appreciate they have to sell things that sell but surely they could get a better balance.

From going upstairs with the missus, womenswear is much better. What's all that about????? Evil

Then there's 'lesbian shoie girl' to contend with. I blanked her today. I was wearing my scab lo's anyway, so it would probably confuse her a bit.
I also shouted at an old lady in boots and student type in h and m.
