Any decent boozers within 20 minutes walk from Heaton Park after the Roses on Friday? Need to head somewhere let it all die down before heading back into the centre. Cheers.

There's the Woodthorpe right next door to Heaton Park, it's a decent sized pub but no doubt will be battered

Not good but its massive, Moon Under Water on Deansgate (v.ironic calling itself that). Everywhere good is pretty strict on door policy what do you normally when on tour elsewhere?

Didn't realise this was an actual DJ... thought you meant Portugese defender Rolando.

Shame because the cocktails there are great. They seem to be doing take away and delivery on food as well which seems odd

Dukes, which is at the train station end of Deansgate (Castlefield), loads of room outside if there's a crew of you and its dry. Oast House on Spinningfields also has plenty of room outside.

If the weathers good Dickie then go to the Sam Smith's Oyster Bar in the triangle. Huge outdoor section and if you get there early enough can take over lots of the outside seating.

Cheers lads appreciate the help. Can't help but think the boozers around the park will be closed on the day of the gigs - any good ones 20/30 minute walk away?

Also, I'm staying down near the Uni - any decent bars/clubs that way we can head towards after the carnage of the gig?

Nope, you've got rock all between Heaton Park and Manchester pub wise, you can head the other way towards Bury but again there isn't much. You'll be best off just heading back into town.

Best club for house/electronic music (not Sankeys)? Or any decent nights on this weekend?

Cheers.
