Milk and Beans. New build with american style blocks of buildings, no character or personality whatsoever. Shit for going out apart from the sidewinders they have there every now and then. Massive shopping complex but this is more for the masses than us fashion conscious. I wouldn't live there in a million years.

except slough is predominatly an asian/indian town and milton keynes isnt. so for that reason id say they are unsimilar.

there is prolly about 50 worse places to live tho, there is some lovely parts of the countryside just outside, the bowlls cool, the shops and restaraunts are bang on...its just soul less, but so are most gaffs.

It's a really odd place...

I often go up there to go snowboarding, which is about the only thing it has going for it.

It's a popular place for many business outside of London, as it has good transport links. As others have said, they made it very American by having kind of cross road type layouts with long avenues. It's really confusing though, as the whole place just looks the same.

The huge shopping mall has most of your usual high street stores, really nothing special about it.

The huge complex Xscape, which contains the snowdome is a real hell hole in the evening, as there is a super club there and many many bars. The clientel are pretty chavy though, and there are lots of fights. After finishing snowboarding late one night, we went for a Subway, which is one of the places still open while there are clubbers about. Its the only Subway Ive ever been in where they have bouncers and don't allow you to eat your good inside!

I wouldn't want to live there.

We went there for a night out, 2 weeks ago.

I've never seen so many people wear sunglasses in a club. I usually see one or two of the cunts, but there was probably 30 of them in MK.

Plus the round-abouts need bunning.

Only positive is that the Weatherspoons there is good for watching football.

see when you do a post and a '_0', '_1' etc appears after the address, you know there has been an earlier thread with exactly the same title (this is assuming you just can't be arsed to use the search

You will struggle to spend money in the shopping centre... I used to go to London every weekend LOL... it is nice if you live in the posh area... where about in MK you gonna live?

Nobles hit the nail on the head, place is "soul-less". Only thing got going for it is the Xscape and er... Nando's.
