They do have an option for comfort/sport which means individual seats with actual lumbar support unlike that shit bench you usually get, amongst other things.

xc90 would be my next suggestion

Discovey 4 I'm sure has 7 seats
XC90

maybe an X5?

there's a few mercs to look at... gl g

g wagon would be my choice but not cheap and if you get the rear seats they might be inward facing

XC90 probably most cost effective

Purely out of interest, anybody know how much it's likely to knock off your insurance?

quoted on a 997 turbo - 1512 with the box 1125 roughly 20% cheaper

Rather pay the 20% than get a fine every time the box decides I've braked too sharply or gone round a corner too quickly.

*edit: 'specially in a 991 Turbo!

VW Transporters are expensive but cool as fuck. Cool

What's so good about them? Everyone seems to be sucking them off like there's no tomorrow. Looks like a van to me? I'd rather have a Vito, or, not a van.

Geländewagen would be ideal but are in the area of 700k over here for a decent used one unless you wanna get real old and dirty with crazy miles. Googled some other mercs and the long version of the r350 actually looks pretty good, like a weird mix of suv and limo, seems to depreciate like crazy so could get a 3-4 yr old one all spec'd out for a bargain price.

Can't quite explain it. Their VW bus heritage just gives them an aura of coolness that something sterile like a Vito lacks.

Bit like the BMW Mini becomes "cool" just from its heritage.

Crazy Joe, yeh, I think they could be good if they've done most of the major depreciating. Would check out the cost of standard stuff before you buy though, not wanting to state the obvious, tyres, discs, pads etc. Half decent looking car for what it is.

wagons are silly money everywhere, thought it would be worth throwing in.

Advice please.

Got a car that was bought new, the finance on it end in 2 months time and we have 3 options.

1.give the car back and pay nothing
2.pay off the balloon payment of 7.5k
3.get a new car on a similar finance deal from them

What is generally the best option on these things? I already know that buying a new car is stupid :picard:

Was probably going to pay the 7.5k to keep the car (it's probably worth just under that)

Advice please?

Serious? Feels like shit, knowing we have paid about 10k for it over 3 years and will have nothing.

Also the milage is over the allowance so we will have to pay a bit for that, then the door panel has been keyed Evil
