To answer my own question - Porter US has also free international returns.

I know you're not in UK Diederik - but here it's a complete bitch to claim back Customs and VAT on items you've returned.
I fought with HMRC over a customs and VAT bill of over a grand for returned items for months before they finally paid me back. I had to get a lawyer involved and everything.

Yeah I live in Luxembourg and I guess it's even worse than in the UK for that. At least the VAT is only 15% here

Is it safe to assume that the items that drop to 70-80% in the US will drop to the same in the UK if they're still in stock?

15% ?
In Italy it's 21%, possibly rising of two more points in autumn!

I had an order cancelled this morning cos the item was out of stock. Is it worth emailing complaining to see if I'll get a voucher like they did with orders that were slow to be sent out at Christmas or do they not do that anymore?

Worth a try I'd say. I got £50 at Christmas simply because it took them a week to post an order.

are you sure? They are in talks with Head Porter trying to stock there bags, but apparently there are worries that some idiots would confuse it for mr porter own brand
