the 'what tune have you got playing on your PC' thread annoys me in the same way that facebook walls do.

discuss music in here!

please keep yousendit thread style sharing at least vaguely clandestine.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour

My favourite film Cool.

I currently can't stop listening to the 'Set Your Goals', Mutiny album.

The title track is good, and there's not really a weak song on the album.

To be honest, I'm listening to a lot of the stuff I used to listen to, a few years ago , again. Becuase not that much which is coming out at the moment is really getting me that interested.

I've been listening to loads of acoustic stuff recently. Just love relaxing music. I seek out a lot of acoustic covers of songs on youtube, some really good ones. Can't stop listening to 'the whitest boy alive', good shit

is this any thread different to 'what are you listening to' if people are just naming what they are listening to...please advise?
to me all it means is that we get adams music choice of the day in a third thread now.

I think it's more of a discussion, rather than just what track you are actually listening to. Adam just doesn't get it, and will post what he's listening to anyway, because he's stubborn

oh a discussion

I think Lavender by Marc almond is one of the best songs he has written, recorded..and is classic marc, if not trypical It's an homage to all the poofy celebrities from back in the day who couldt actually come out...about being gay at that time too It probably wont interest all you youngens with your rock and roll and computer noise and what have you.
My fave bit of the lyric is "the rent is on the dilly, in the fake leather jackets, where everythings giftwraped, all coming in packets (or something like that)

I wonder when it is you STOP serching for new music and are quite happy with what has gone in the past? (about 20 years ago if you listen to me)
..and i wonde rif that has the same relationship at the same time as fashion?

The NME readers will say Glasvegas (Gashvegas more like). Crystal Castles are so, like, last issue.
