The blurb on the site says

"farfetch.com unites Europe’s best independent fashion boutiques, so that you can buy from the most interesting designer fashion brands in the world in one easy-to-shop website"

Prices are quite high but there's a decent range on there. Could be good for picking up some nice bits in the sales

im abit confused..do they have the cloths in stock, or just run down to pick up the item from the shops when someone orders?

The one item I looked at said that the store where it is stocked will mail it out directly to you , so where do they make their money ?

Nice bits just seems a bit strange really ??????

from what i gather its just a general hub for various European 'boutiques' - quite a good idea

They take a percentage from the sale.

I think it's a clever idea as long as the stock levels are accurately updated

Hello, I work for farfetch.com, so I thought i'd just let you know how it works. All the boutiques are connected to the website via some software, so they know exactly when they get a sale from it. They pack up the order themselves with their own packaging etc and our courier comes to collect it. Our aim is that the shopper gets a taste of the experience of actually shopping in that boutique, without leaving home. There'll be more boutiques and brands coming soon.

Obviously a 50% Fuk discount would be appreciated.
