Anybody got anything decent planned? I'm tryng to sort something out at the moment (hiring a hotel in Brighton), its gonna cost about £6000 (which between about 30 people is fuck all).
House parties are out as I haven't got my own house, been looking to see if you can hire an apartment for just NYE but its not looking good at the moment.
Any decent ideas are also appreciated

some proper crazy mofos on here that sure know how to let their hair down...makes me feel really old, it truly does.
i blame pete and amy for making them all think its acceptable to sit in over scotch egg nibbles and a can of 7 up.
i will use any excuse to go out and get of my nut, my budgiereegars birthday, death of my nans goldfish, barmans mate from scotlands birthday, any fucking thing and ill use it.

I am of the same thinking, just not on the 31st of december the most overhyped night i the entire history of mankind. Really cant stand all the falseness, people forcing themselves into having a good time because they feel they should. As it happens it now turns out I'm now going out(yes under thumb) when i really really couldnt think of anything worse. you know how much you hate Ian huntley, Lilly allen etc etc Well they are New years eve personified for me.

its different from me, im a massive class a drug taker, so the more 'new' earholes that are out and about to listen to my self important me me me bullshit the better, its heaven for me. (especially as they have to stay out till gone 12 when im just getting warmed up and full even more bollocks by then as well)

Working on the second of Jan in a stressful environment doesn't permit only having a single day to recover from an orgy of delights that could be on offer on NYE. I've had some good NYE so I'm not knocking it, just not on the cards this year.
If I didn't have to work I would be out socialising every day with no consequences.

Houseparty at a mates I haven't seen all year. Part boozers, part pillheads. Only thing I hate about New Years are the price hikes, other than that, a great excuse to get people out.

Depending on how sociable you are and the ratio of the sexes if you're a single guy I think NYE is one of the best days you can pull a good looking girl.

I was out in town NYE in 2005? (not last year the year before) and at least a dozen girls in the space of 5 hours approached me with intent to rape. I wasn't wearing a magic jacket or the latest CDG aftershave and I don't think my friends paid them so I put it down to NYE.
