3 days in nyc!

I am going to New York on Saturday for 3 days to bring some US products back to sell in the store but I am taking my girl friend too and its her birthday while we are there. Any ideas of what i can do for her??? as i have never been I am a bit stuck. Also any other tips about the city would be wicked as I only have 3 days, would of loved to one for longer but have other commitments. Cheers |

get one of those guides, they are invaluable for walking about and identifying stuff. Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Guggenheim were a must for me, also did the Circle Line tour (boat that goes half way round Manhattan). View from Empire state at dusk. Whatever you choose to do, you'll have a ball. Top-tip: Don't pack too much in. |

definitely go to the Guggenheim as EVERS says, it's a fantastic building and the collections are always interesting get the ferry from Battery Park out to and around the Statue of Liberty, it's worth seeing close up, and the view back to Manhattan is cool too Greenwich Village is really cool (no homo), your type of place I think, definitely worth a wander some photos from my last trip here http://www.andysweet.co.uk/andy/photos.php?gallery=./travel/USA EVERS' top tip is a good one - make sure you spend some time just sitting, drinking it all in. and wander the streets a bit, don't just get the subway everywhere |

If you want to goto a restaurant with a bit of wow factor take her here http://www.taorestaurant.com/ Food is superb, prices are reasonable and last I was there Method Man where there too. |
