bridlesmith walk, which is a little alley off bridlesmith gate that connects it to fletcher gate. in between waterstones and cafe nero, on that side of the road

Any fukers in Notts been into sa-kis? Been around for a few weeks I think. Some nice stuff in there: Edwin, garbstore, norse projects, heritage research etc. and the guys who work there seem really cool.

Gets worse everytime you go in! Think a decent shop would do okay in Notts but maybe im wrong with Helligoland going and Sa Kis looking like a jumble sale with non shiftable stock

its terrible. when I went in the other day all it had was libertine libertine at silly prices and lyle scott and ben sherman. when I first went there on opening it said on the flyer it was going to have apc/gitman/our legacy/folk etc etc. heligoland was run by an idiot who wasted his parents money

The bestman has sent out the following list of bars were going to: Tantra Bar, Escucha, dogma bar, flirtz bar.

tantra is pretty banterous but the better of that list, escusha is absolutely horrid and somebody got stabbed in there a couple months ago and its full of dodgy carl lewis's. dogma is pretty boring and expensive and the atmopshere is pretty shit, never heard of flirtz, think its a dive.
I'd recommend Saltwater (Even though its a little strict and a little expensive), Spanky Van Dykes, Stealth/Rescue Rooms for later in the night, The Social (Bodega), Ride for pretty cheap drinks though its for people the same age as Lurk, Cucamarus for a pre drink as its cheap as fuck and shots are something like £1.
Thats pretty much it. Apart from places like Spoons/Foxes/Reflex which are pretty much the hen night/stag do go-to's, but they are proper shit.
I'd recommend Hooters for a stag night starting point too, considering I think its still the only one outside america.
Then when its proper late there is a bar open until around 5am, Bar Schnapps, good selection of whiskey but only really somewhere to go as everything closes at 3am.

I forgot to mention: We're starting at Hooters. The last time I was in Hooters I won $600 in Hooters, Las Vegas - so I presume this one is going to suck in comparison

Theres no betting or gambling in there apart from the shit fruit machines, pretty fucking expensive too, really good to watch football there though, its pretty far from town so you'll need to get a taxi from hooters into the city centre.
Avoid eating there though, its proper rancid and dirty.

Shopping in Nottingham is proper shite,
Sa-Kis is worth a visit, although its quite a disappointing store after looking promising to begin with.
Paul Smith store is nice, looks like it could be flagship,
Flannels has some nice high end stuff but mostly ,garish gucci etc.
Apart from those three stores theres not much else shopping wise worth checking out, unfortunately.

astro's pretty much summed it up, theres dedicated lacoste and fred perry shops too but both are pretty shit and probably won't interest you.
theres trains and buses that run from beeston to the train station in the city and theres a few park and rides scattered about too.
