I hate NTL's support line. We had to change our set-top box and the fucker on the other end said that it could handle more than 1 mbps when it couldn't - the guy in India told me as much.
One rule, always get the name of the guy you're talking to - I moaned so much I got six months worth of the family pack half price. It isn't much but it helps.

What other differences does it offer apart from no Sky channels?
Was there a website mentioned with a petition to sign to stop them doing this?

I thought the situation was that Sky was going to pull the channels from ntl because they couldn't agree a new deal, but it was all sorted in the end..its Sky having a hissy fit and blowing hot air because they feel threatened by the new Virgin merger.

all i know is after the football there was an advert from Sky saying that Virgin(NTL) no longer wanted the channels or something? They advised people to phone NTL and reconsider.

its such a load of shit, the agency that i work for are a preffered supplier for these tittocks. We had a rep come and give us a corporate presentation on the whole brand.its rubbish.

lol, you serious? the cunts. Well I doubt it will happen, from what I briefly read in some other forums the threat was to pull Sky 1/2,Sky travel.. crap anyways, endless Simpsons reruns.. still, I would miss SkySports News if that went

Its happened before. Tiscali or homechoice or something had there channels pulled.
Yeah i wouldnt miss skyone. Its shit. Id miss sky travel, sky sports news and sky news.
